Our Mission

Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with God and people…everywhere, from all walks of life, to develop communities with people in need by building and renovating houses, so that there are decent houses in decent communities in which every person can experience God’s love and can live and grow into all that God intends.

Niagara Area Habitat for Humanity strives to give God’s people a way to build their community through providing homes to families and a shared sense of accomplishment.

Developing our local community together.

Niagara Area HFH is continuing our efforts in the Echota neighborhood of Niagara Falls, NY. Our next project is set to begin this Spring.

Thanks to Waste Management for providing Niagara Area HFH with grant monies to dig the foundation. Together with a group of dedicated volunteers, we are helping to revitalize this historic neighborhood.

Look for our signs on A Street and stop in for a visit or lend a helping hand. Volunteers are welcome any Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. (Tues. & Thurs. hours are 9 am to about 2 pm & Sat. hours 9 am to?)

Current Projects

42 “A” Street – New home in the Echota neighborhood. Anyone interested in doing a little hard work can stop by the jobsite on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9am and 1pm or any Saturday from 9am to ? We need you no matter what your construction skills may be.

Joining with Niagara Area Beautification Commission for the upcoming “Beautify Niagara” day.

You Can Help

Regular Board meetings are held the first Monday of every other month, starting at 6:30pm in the Founders Room at the Unitarian Universalist Church on Main St., Niagara Falls, NY

All interested people are welcome to attend.

Fundraising – “Pennies from Heaven” cans are available. Contact us for details.
