Valu Home Centers

2010  Habitat for Humanity Campaign

Fundraising is still going on until July 31, 2010.  Please support your local Habitat by frequenting either the Niagara Falls or North Tonawanda Value Home Centers.  Each dollar raised stays in the local community.

The “Thank You” phase of this campaign will publically recognize the donations made to Habitat for Humanity by the people of Western and Central New York and Northwestern Pennsylvania.  Starting August 15 to September 4, 2010.

August 9th will be the actual drawing for the grand prize of a brand new 2010 car.  The drawing will be held locally at the Valu Home Center on Sheridan Drive and Bailey Avenue.  The drawing will be broadcast live on AM Buffalo.

‘WOMEN BUILD’ EVENT

Can you believe we’ve done 7 Women Build events since 2003??  Calling all ladies, come join us again on Saturday, August 21 starting at 9am at 42 A Street (off Hyde Park Blvd. near Buffalo Avenue).  Spend an hour or the day learning, laughing and laboring with females of all ages.  Lunch will be served by the men (you’ll only see that on our construction site during Women Build event days).

The privilege to work that day will cost only $5.00 which entitles you to be eligible for our hourly door prize drawings.
